The wonder’s of living forever:

Could you imagine never having to part this world and go to another? To never perish and stay the same age you are now? If I could choose any superpower it would be Immortality. I’d use this power to document history and to be able to experience everything life has to offer, with an un-numbered amount of years. Every monumental event in history would be documented for generations to come. For example I’d document every detail of politics and all the changes in law, rules, and Elections. Also I’d record all of the natural events like tsunamis, and earthquakes. Even the un-natural events like terrorist attacks and any wars that could happen. Immortality would also fulfill my personal wants and needs, being able to fall in love over and over again. Being able to experience having a family and raise them to be their best, to watch them succeed in their lives. I’d be able to make as many mistakes as I want and not have to worry about fixing it because I can do the same thing again if I wanted to. Traveling the world and staying in one place for a long time wouldn’t be a problem. I could live in China for 10-20 years then move to Hawaii for another 10-20 years, and not have to worry about my life being over. The fear of death wouldn’t paralyze me, because I don’t have to worry about that. Immortality would be the superpower for me. The privilege of living forever would be in my grasp.

The Thane of Cawdor and his nasty scheme.

Macbeth has been told that he is the Thane of Cawdor, What will he do to become king?

After a war is won by Macbeth he is told he is to be the Thane of cawdor, once he hears this he starts to think about what he can do to make himself king, "He's here is double thrust; first, as i am his kings man and his subject, strong both against the deed, the as his host, who should against his murder shut the door, not bear the knife myself."

Macbeth sent a letter to his wife Lady Macbeth telling her of his victory in the war and him becoming Thane of Cawdor. When lady Macbeth gets this letter she starts to think of how to make her husband king and her the queen, "Unsex me here, and fill me, from the crown to the toe, topfull of direst cruelty! make thick my blood." She then decided that the only way to do this would be to kill the king.

Macbeth gets back to the castle and tells his wife that the king is to be expected to stay in their castle that night. Lady macbeth let's her husband know of her plans and he is shocked to hear that she wants to kill the king, " When Duncan is asleep whereto the rather shall his day's hard journey soundly invite him... when in swinish sleep their drenched natures lies as in a death."

It was then decided that they would kill the king.

1 year to live

As the end creeps near, I am not afraid because I know I lived my life the way I wanted to. I am going to explain to you what I did after I found out that I only had a year to live. It was a day just like any other; I was going in for my normal check up. I then knew something was wrong when I got a phone call from the doctor asking me to come in and see him. At first I thought I was going to get into a lot of trouble because I was pregnant or something. Once I seen the look on his face I knew it was something way worse. He sat my mom and I down and explained to us that I only had one year to live. My mother started to weep, but I was too shocked to even move. We had a meeting and told the rest of my family. I have never seen there faces that way before. When I finally had to tell my friends, I think it was the worst thing that they had ever heard. They all started to cry at the same time, and I thought ‘what are all of you crying for? I’m the one that’s dying here!’ Everyone tried to comfort me by telling me everything is going to be okay. I was very scared, scared of the unknown. Scared of what would happen after I died. Then I decided that there is no time to think of what is going to happen to me and start thinking about what I’m going to do until then. I knew then that I needed to do something about my situation and make the best of it. I started out by apologizing to most of the people I hurt in my life. Then I talked to my family and told them that I wanted to go to Spain, Paris to see the Eiffel tower, and to visit the family members I haven’t seen in a long time. Travelling was very hard for me because I realized that I started to get weaker and slower, but I did it. Once I got back I focused on being with my friends, and trying to do the things I did before I got sick. I made it to do all of these things within 6months. After the 6months passed I had to stay in bed more. My sickness became more fierce, and I was finding myself staying in bed for most of the day. Once I was bedridden the thought of me dying really started to sink in. I realized that I’m never going to get married, have kids, a house of my own, a career; I’m never going to fall in love, never going to grow old with someone and see my grandchildren. All of these things overwhelmed me and for the first time I was able to cry. After I cried I started to get really mad. I started to think ‘Why in the hell is this happening to me! Of all the people in the world it has to be me! I haven’t done anything to deserve this!’ I then realized that I have accomplished things I wanted to do before I died. I’ve been the best daughter, sister, Grand-daughter, Great- Grand- daughter, cousin, and friend that I could be. I travelled to the places I wanted to go. Seen and apologized to the people I needed to. I realized then that I was content and prepared to leave this world behind and start a new one.

I cross my heart

Our love is unconditional, we knew it from the start.
I see it in your eyes, you can feel it from my heart.
From here on after let's stay the way we are right now,
And share all the love and laughter
That a lifetime will allow.

I cross my heart and promise to
Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine.

You will always be the miracle that makes my life complete,
And as long as there's a breath in me, I'll make yours just as sweet.
As we look into the future, it's as far as we can see,
So let's make each tomorrow be the best that it can be.

I cross my heart and promise to
Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine.

And if along the way we find a day it starts to storm,
You've got the promise of my love to keep you warm.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine,
A love as true as mine.

Do you love someone unconditionally, and know that you want to be with that person forever? The song “I cross my heart” by George Strait is a love song George wrote for his wife to describe how much he loves her. He says in the song that “[He] crosses [his] heart and [promises] to give all [he’s] got to give to make all [her] dreams come true.” George also states that “In all the world [she’ll] never find a love as true as [his].” Many people use “I cross my heart.” For a wedding song, so show how much they love each other and to show that “[Their] love is unconditional.” George Strait displays the mood of love and devotion in “Cross my heart.” Also that “As [they] look into the future, it’s as far as [they] can see, so [they’ll] make each tomorrow be the best as it can be.”

55 word short stories

Addiction

I’m sitting with my friends
I can’t breathe
I’m fighting for air
I got to remember inhale and exhale
They look at me with worried expressions when my face starts to turn bright red
I still can’t breathe
I have an addiction to laughing,
Laughing high, low, long, short, uncontrollably, laughing until my hearts content

Tattoo

“Do you do Tattoos?” asked a young man
“Yes, I do.” Said an older man that owned the tattoo shop “You want a tattoo?”  “Trying to look like a man?”

The young man shuffled his feet, looked down and said “yes, sir” with embarrassment.

“Well, then come on in here lad.” Said the older man.
